Ten document types
LuaBill provides Invoice, Commercial Offer, Delivery Note, Order Confirmation, Proforma Invoice, Purchase Order, Credit Note, Cancellation Invoice, Quotation Request and Letter. Invoices also distinguish full, advance, partial and final invoices.
Structured invoice formats apply to invoices, credit notes and cancellation invoices. Offers, orders and the other correspondence types use PDF output. Select the output for the document you are actually issuing.
Automatic offer validity
For Commercial Offer, set Offer validity (days) on the Document tab. A positive value adds the localized Offer valid until line immediately after Project in Remarks, or first if Project is blank. The date is calculated from the document date plus the number of days.
For example, a document dated November 1, 2026 with 30 days is valid until December 1, 2026. Set 0 days to omit the automatic deadline. Existing independent conditions remain; old standard validity lines are replaced in the output to avoid duplicate or outdated dates. You do not need to add this line manually.
References, advances and payment details
For credit or cancellation documents, complete the reference to the original invoice. Final invoices with received advances need the actual payment breakdown: invoice reference, invoice and payment dates, net amount, VAT and tax group. LuaBill calculates the remaining amount due from these records.
Optional customer numbers, purchase references and project details help match documents to an order. An EPC/SEPA payment QR code is available for eligible EUR invoices. Preview the result after changing the document type; data useful for an invoice may need a different presentation in an offer or letter.
